Our AGM in September 2021 was well attended and members enjoyed an interesting talk on Orchids by Kelvin Bush. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of a new trophy to the Club in memory of a very talented and much loved member, Ros Mizen; the trophy will be awarded annually. The Trophy was presented by Ros’s husband, Graham Mizen who was accompanied by two of his daughters; one of whom you will see on the right is our member, Helen Walker.
The new Ros Mizen Trophy was subsequently awarded to our member Ann Belcher for her outstanding photographic success at NAFAS National level as well as locally.

In addition the Chairman presented bouquets of flowers to two members who were departing the Committee to thank them for their contribution to the running of the Club, namely Sue Dury and Alison Jones.
Our President, Nora Ford, presented a bouquet to our Programme Secretary, Caroline Holden in recognition of her considerable work to cancel the booking of demonstrators during the pandemic and to make new demonstrator bookings to ensure the Club has a full and varied programme in the future.
Member, Jill Hayward, was presented with a bouquet by our President to honour her membership of the Club for 50 years during which time she has also been a Committee Member and is now rejoining the Committee.
In addition members presented bouquets to our Chairman, Audrey King, and Secretary, Penny Smith in recognition of their considerable efforts to keep Club members informed and interested during the recent lockdowns.
